I really love your fashion taste.
I appreciate the hard work you put into this project.
Thank you so much, you are awesome!
I sometimes find it hard to say affirming words for a whatever reason; it's not something I think about often. Once I was asked to write something nice about some other folks, it took me a long time to come up with things and it was pretty generic, I didn't really have a list that I thought was worthy of the persons, they were nice people after all, yet, I just couldn't express my gratitude. Even so, I see how affirmation can really make a person feel good about them self and the things they are doing.
Once, I was teaching a group of girls a dance. They were not dancers and they were trying their best to learn the moves and to dance together but I was getting frustrated. I didn't want to be angry and insulting so I looked for things they were doing right and commented on those and then gently corrected the things they were doing wrong. A few days before we preformed one of the girls said something to me that has stuck with me; she said, "I know we aren't dancers, but your patience with us and your support really helped in getting this together, thank you."
It may take some time and you really do have to pay attention to the actions of the people around you, but everyone deserves to be affirmed. :)
