And they that went before, and they that followed,
cried saying, "Hosanna; blessed is He that comes in
the name of the Lord. Blessed be the Kingdom of our
father David that comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest."
The scene opens on a dusty street, Jesus comes in riding on the back of a colt and people see him and the first thing they do is cut down branches and place them on the path for the colt to thread on. They take their garments and place them on the streets. They sing in a loud voice "Hosanna in the highest". This is a cry being echoed through the ages, in our songs, in our prayers, in our worship - Hosanna in the highest. Lord, save us! In the highest way.
It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Jesus can save us in the highest possible way. He does not have to continually pay the sacrifice, he did it once and it is enough for all times. We don't have to continually slay the lamb as an offering, the Lamb of God was slain once and for all for us. And so it is the cry of my heart today and all days. Hosanna, Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
Save us, in the highest way.

Amen! I get so blessed by your posts.
Have you heard of Brooke Fraser's song "Hosanna"? It's on a couple of different Hillsong CDs. Great song.
@no_more_grace@xanga - I have :) and I'm listening to it now and was listening to that and Paul Baloche's hosanna as I typed that :)
I agree with Pickwick12. Wow. It's so cool how well you're living your life for Christ so explicitly.
