  • Confessions of a PC Christian.

I've noticed a trend on the internet when it comes to Christianity and it appalls me to an extent. It's called PC Christianity. It means that I am a Christian who does not want to offend anyone least they dislike me. I was a PC Christian. I didn't want to offend anyone, I wanted to be tolerant and I wanted people to like me and so I kept my mouth shut on many things that I thought were wrong. I did not want to offend, thinking that Jesus said to love, but then forgetting that in his love Jesus offended many. He also offended a majority of the Religious Folks of his time whom I am probably going to offend by this post, but you know, that's O.K.

God provided me with a gift, a solution, a way to remove the blindfold from the eyes of people who are running to their death, if I stay silent with this gift, if I don't speak to the people about Jesus then how will they know? In the space of three days I've had this verse spoken to me twice and it has stayed with me and quite frankly it scares me because I think back to the times when I feel moved to speak to someone about Christ and I kept quiet because of fear of what they will think of me. It is because of this that I cannot keep quiet even here, I have to speak, I have to tell you dear friends, that you are his witnesses and if you do not speak his truth you are not helping but are damning the lives of the people you do not want to offend.

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of
Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them
warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely
die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the
wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked
man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness,
nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast
delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 3:17-19 [emphasis mine]

Do you believe that God is real? Do you have him in your life? Then why don't you share him?
