Rebecca St. James sung a song called Carry Me High. Towards the end of the
song this little kid is recorded saying, "Until you find something
worth dying for, you're not really living."
This is probably one of my favourite phrases in a song. One little phrase that holds so much weight.
think
about it .... have you really found that one thing in your life that
no matter what you would die for it? When that time actually comes
where you are asked whether you will live or die will you actually
choose death than life?
America is a country built on freedom -
freedom of speech; freedom of religion - yet Christianity is slowly
loosing it's freedom and people who are Christians are slowly becoming
the bad guys. They have taken away prayers in schools, they are calling
the Bible a hate book.
We sit back and we let it happen, is it because
we've lost our passion? Are our hands so tied up that we sit back and
do nothing while they mock our Lord? Are we really living for him or
afraid to tell people about him because it might not be PC?
Father, carry my high,
Lift me to the sky,
Let me be where you are.
Hold me, ever so closely
Let me know your mercy
Let me be where you are.
