Smoking is a choice. But if you’re addicted to something, doesn’t that rule out choice?
What is an addiction? How is it formed? I think it all starts with creating a habit and we know how hard those are to break; I mean, take away the H and you still have Abit ... take away the A and you STILL have a Bit .. take away the B and you still have It!!!!
Yet, it can be broken if you choose to do it. So addiction does not rule out choice, on smoking or on any other addictions. A person is still capable of making a decision - to say yes to it or no, I need help.
[habit breakdown taken from mah dad]I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
