I understand that we are all humans and I understand that we make mistakes and we all do the wrong things sometimes. However, at that particular moment in time we feel like we are doing the right things, we feel like we are not making mistakes and it takes a humble person to not give in to pride and to admit they are wrong.
The bible teaches us that in order to come to Christ we must first humble ourselves -- we must repent. To repent is to admit to the fact that you are wrong and take action to correct it ...
When that light goes off and you admit error it's not right to go on making those same errors all over again. God is powerful enough to help us with our errors. I know that there have been things in my life that took a looooong time to fix, but with God and with perseverance I was able to overcome some obstacles. There are still many things to fix and a long way to go but I know who I believe in and I know he'll see me through. Come as you are! However, come in humility ...
So don't just say "Oh mai!" and carry on with your life :) If you know it needs fixing take it to the master fixer! First comes repentance, next comes forgiveness and that equation equals eternal life! :D
