Deeper than Skin
Deeper than Skin
On the outside I may seem
A weakling, unable to stand
But inside there burns a flame
That is deep within my heart
He sees through my failings
He hears my every cry
He knows my shortcomings
And understands my sigh
Fashioned in His image
With the Light of Life inside
He sees my heart of hearts
The world sees the outside
Inside He's put his fire
Inside He's put his love
To live life every hour
As one after His own heart.
